“A Gem in the Lakes (Dave and Yvonne, Bolton)”
We have just spent 5 wonderful days & nights at the Yewdale. On arrival we were greeted by friendly and courteous staff. During the course of our stay we were made to feel part of a family rather than simply guests of a hotel.
We found the food to be of excellent quality, very tasty and plenty of it. Lots of choices on the menu and we were never disappointed.
Overall we had brillant time, had great food, good beer, made new friends and will definately return.

We were lucky enough to stay at The Yewdale in Coniston last month. From start to finish all aspects of the stay were positive and in Peter & Beverley ( and Millie the Dog ) we experienced excellent Hosts - absolutely nothing too much trouble eg I had to leave very early one of the mornings so potentially could have missed breakfast - Peter having none of that and prepared one for me. Food was superb and the Fish I had was better than Rick Stein's in every way I promise.We will make every effort to return and once again Peter Beverley & Millie our thanks.

Weve stayed here 3 times now twice with our daughter and once when just two of us stayed.The deals they have are great value for money & the meals they do are wonderful the staff are great and its just a realy good place to be.Vegitarians are well looked after with a wonderful selection of meals.The times we spend there are good memorable times and we shall be back next year for our forth trip.YOU MUST VISIT THIS WONDERFUL PART OF ENGLAND AND STAY AT THE YEWDALE...
P.S when you stay remember Milly is not allowed too many sausages ......
